The School of Living Music is alive and well in 2021, with students returning in droves.
Our North Melbourne studio has been buzzing, as restrictions ease and face to face learning is possible again. We’ve re-introduced Senior and Junior Bands, both of which have been well-attended and well-led by Joel Martin (Senior Band) and Gene de Vergier (Junior Band).
Next term, we will continue with both bands, offer Masterclasses in songwriting and musicianship with School director Andrew McSweeney, and rumours are afoot that we might start planning for a mid-year concert.
Plum spots available in the timetable include:
5:30pm Monday – bass or guitar with Jo
5:30pm Monday – piano with Joel Segal
5:00pm Tuesday – violin with Nyssa
5:30pm Wednesday – singing with Alex
6:00pm Wednesday – piano with Joel Segal
5:00pm Thursday – guitar with Joel Martin
6:00pm Thursday – piano with Odette
